𝕎𝕚𝕤𝕕𝕠𝕞 – 𝕋𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕃𝕚𝕗𝕖
Driving the morning after the election, overwhelmed by the magnitude of corruption and severity of the United States becoming a socialist, and possibly communist country, darkness came knocking on my door.

When I answered, hopelessness said hello. Immediately I slammed the door shut and set my entire being on the Creator of all things. Two weeks ago, although not as intense, the same thing happened.

I was set free from “that” 4 years ago and I refuse to entertain such visitors. What’s “that“? Hopelessness, fear, and anxiety.

Back then, and these two recent times, turning my heart to God instead of entertaining unwanted guests allowed God to inject me with hope, righteousness, joy, peace, and love. All the things that make up His Kingdom. (𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜 𝟷𝟺:𝟷𝟽)

I realized that my faith was in the wrong thing. I was idolizing the tree of good and evil. My heart was more consumed with the knowledge of good and evil than the Tree of Life.

There, before me, stood two trees. The tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil and I was hypnotized by the wrong one. It seemed good and noble to focus on the knowledge of good and evil. I do stand for good, and fight to defend it, but the truth is that it was causing me to lose focus of Life.

𝙸𝚗 𝚊 𝚜𝚘𝚏𝚝 𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚙𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚎, “the fight of good versus evil is important. You should give it all you’ve got. The Tree of Life will always be there. Don’t worry about Him. Focus on defending good. This tree will deliver you from evil.”

What the serpent didn’t realize is that I had eaten of that tree for most of my life and it got me nowhere good. The Tree of Life, Jesus, changed everything – by contrast. By God’s grace, I will never pick the wrong tree again.

The Tree of Life is where God wants me to eat from. It’s where He wants you to eat from. There we find abundance, joy, peace, righteousness, and love. There we experience His kingdom.

Let’s eat of Him. It’s so much sweeter than anything else. He is all we need!

To gain the riches of wisdom is far greater than gaining the wealth of the world. As wisdom increases, a great treasure is imparted, greater than many bars of refined gold. It is a more valuable commodity than gold and gemstones, for there is nothing you desire that could compare to her.

Wisdom extends to you long life in one hand and wealth and promotion in the other. Out of her mouth flows righteousness, and her words release both law and mercy.
