Living on the water

FunFloat is picking up more business, which is exciting, but that means all hands on deck (pun intended 😉)

Mike took me out after a rental to get me used to driving the boat. There was a crew team out in the water and I was able to navigate through and around them – courtesy to others is the water is important to me, especially for those on non-motorized watercraft. Safety is also critical, so Mike walked me through some pointers.

I then docked the boat, as well as placed it back on the trailer. It wasn’t perfect, but I’m learning.

The beach has always been my oasis, but I’m also learning to love rivers and lakes. There’s a peace and calm I feel when I’m around water.

Maybe one day I’ll get my captain’s license too.

Living in Florida was always my dream. The fact I get to live here is awesome enough, but the bonus of living the way we do is even better – near the ocean, and beautiful small beach town, and the boating life. Between the ocean, paddle boarding, and the boat, I‘m on the water more than I ever imagined.

When I’m not in the water, my other hobby takes me through trails where I get to run and enjoy a whole other side of nature.

Being outdoors makes me feel so good. It’s hard to explain. It just feels like it’s where I belong.

So, friend, what makes you feel content in life? Are you doing/living it? If not, then why? Make a plan and start taking steps to make it happen.

God did not create you so that you would have a miserable life!! He didn’t create you to suffer. He created you to enjoy His creation and partner with Him in caring for it all. Jesus came so that we would have eternal life, which starts now!!! Not after you die. This eternal life includes a peace that surpasses understanding, unspeakable joy, an abundant life, and most importantly, love.

That’s the life God wants for you. Maybe you don’t feel like you have any of that. Well, it awaits you.
