Prioritize with VPMOSA

The other day I posted about Lifework Leadership. Today, let me share about another leadership program I’ve been going through the last 8 months.

Let me start off by saying that this course could have been completed in a much shorter time frame, but as I was learning, I was trying to live it. I believed in the teaching so much, I didn’t want it to only be head knowledge. This is a way of life, and it aligns with much of what I teach.

Transformational Leadership is a course that applies to all areas of life. It’s taught by an incredible human being, Ford Taylor. Ford doesn’t just teach it. He lives it.

He’s transparent and authentic, most importantly, he’s loving and kind. I know this because I had the privilege of meeting him in person, as well as have him walk me (and others) through some difficult situations.

This weekend I’m starting my VPMOSA.

Vision
Purpose
Mission
Objectives
Strategies
Actions

In December, I went through this process and created one, but I went through the course AGAIN. Although it was through an unpleasant situation, I got to experience and have hands-on training from Ford and some of his staff. I realized I needed to slow down and focus on applying the lessons.

So, I’m here again. Thankfully, I have a much better idea of where God is leading me and I have a better understanding of the concepts, so re-writing my VPMOSA is necessary.

It’s work, but it’s worth it.

Writing it down puts it in a way that allows you to digest it and align your life around it.

Essentially, it helps make decisions because you clearly know where (and why) you are going, as well as the strategies and actions you need to focus on to get there.

This class is available to you.
