How Are We Known As Disciple of Jesus?

Miracles, healings, casting out demons, signs & wonders are an amazing display of God’s love and mercy. They are giftings (not earned and given without repentance) that follow those that believe.

While every disciple of Jesus is a believer, not everyone that believes is a disciple. How can I say that? Demons believe. Actually, they don’t just believe, they know.

The scripture tells us how we will be known as disciples of Jesus and children of God – neither have to do with casting out demons, miracles, healing, signs and wonders.

Those are all things God does, but God wants us to focus on a more excellent way (1 Corinthians 12-13); WHO HE IS.

Love!

“So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.””
John 8:31

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.””
‭‭John‬ ‭13:34-35‬ ‭

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:7‬
