𝐆𝗼𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝗼𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝗼 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝗼𝐫𝗺𝐚𝐭𝐢𝗼𝐧; it does not enable, allow, or encourage sin. There are some that discourage preaching the love of because it scares them; it’s too risky. There has been a fear that speaking or living out of God’s love encourages or allows people to continue to live in sin without repercussion.

This, however, is a lie of the enemy based in fear.

I will continue to dismantle that lie and speak Truth; 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅’𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆. To resist speaking God’s love out of fear that people will continue to live in sin is an indication that we are seeing love through the eyes of man, but God does not have faulty love like man does. 𝐆𝗼𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝗼𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭; 𝐰𝐡𝗼𝐥𝐞; 𝐜𝗼𝗺𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞. Fear must go. Fear doesn’t belong in us. Let’s not give it access or rights to us. God’s love is perfect and it’s what casts out fear.

𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆.

Todays passage speaks about God’s Love & Grace, also known as 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫. As you read, take note that in no way, shape, or form is sin/evil an acceptable lifestyle within the context of God’s Love or Grace. This gives us a glimpse into God’s heart and nature.

Romans 2:4 articulates how 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝗼𝗼𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝗼𝐟 𝐆𝗼𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝗼 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. It’s not God’s goodness or love that is the problem, it’s the stubbornness and unrepentant heart that is (Romans 2:5).

We can’t change the message of Jesus and God’s love out of fear that man will use it in an irresponsible manner. We need to speak the Truth.

It’s the role of the Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth to the hearts and minds of people. We are to preach the Truth and should not withhold portions of it out of fear.

May we boldly declare the truth of Jesus Christ – the manifestation of the love of God – Love in human form.

I encourage you to pick up your Bible and read chapter 3 of Titus because its filled wirh rich teaching. Here is a portion of the text.

“When the extraordinary compassion of God our Savior and his overpowering love suddenly appeared in person, as the brightness of a dawning day, he came to save us. Not because of any virtuous deed that we have done but only because of his extravagant mercy. He saved us, resurrecting us through the washing of rebirth.

We are made completely new by the Holy Spirit, whom he splashed over us richly by Jesus, the Messiah, our Life Giver. So as a gift of his love, and since we are faultless— innocent before his face— we can now become heirs of all things, all because of an overflowing hope of eternal life.

How true and faithful is this message! I want you to especially emphasize these truths, so that those who believe in God will be careful to devote themselves to doing good works. It is always beautiful and profitable for believers to do good works.”
