Everything I do and say is for this purpose of
“On Earth as it is in Heaven”
When I counsel, speak, lead, teach, or write my mission is to share the heart and mind of God. It does not mean that’s the current reality or what the experience is, but to speak truth is to bring freedom. I refuse to allow the work of the enemy to stay, linger, or appear to be stronger than it actually is because the truth is that in Heaven, evil is defeated.
There are times where situations seem hopeless. Evil feels overwhelming heavy. However, we must quickly look to Jesus to remember the finished work of the cross, His resurrection, and His life – as He sits alive seated at the right hand of the Father as King, ruling and reigning. When we are in Christ we rule and reign with Him because those who are one with Him are we are seated on the throne in Him.
When life, situations, or people remove Jesus from the seat of authority, evil, death, and darkness become the lord of our life. We must always look to Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. The only way. The only truth. The only life.
Last week I had a few hours where hopelessness started to knock at my door. I knew the feeling because I had been there before. I prayed and then I did what I did last time, I called my mom. That night angels woke me in the middle of the night and I felt and heard a shift in the wind. Hope overwhelmed me and the enemy’s lies unraveled.
You see, it’s not that we will never face thoughts of doubt or experience trials in this world. It’s what we do with it that matters. Do we allow them to remain and give them power or do we look to Christ and trust that He is the victorious Lord of our life? We can’t call Him our Lord when we see our pain, suffering, despair, bitterness, hatred, or unforgiveness as bigger than Him. Jesus is greater than all.
Where there is no peace, there is no Jesus. I’m not speaking about a circumstantial peace. I’m speaking about a peace inside our souls. That’s Heaven on Earth – Heaven within. If there is no joy, there is no Kingdom of Heaven.
The Kingdom of Heaven is joy, peace, and righteousness.
Where the Kingdom of God is we see those things. The Kingdom of God is within us – it should be. It’s the Kingdom Jesus came to establish. Let’s be carriers of the Kingdom as we partner with God so that
“His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”
Lots of love,
